Hi there!

I'm Alexandra. I aim to inspire others to find joy and creativity in the spaces they live — no matter how small. Through storytelling, design, and an eye for detail, Rambling Garden shows how intentional living, tiny gardening, and personal style can transform even a camper lot into a sanctuary.

We absolutely love our landscaping designed by Alexandra Johns, Allie. Her design was thoughtful and personalized. When we first met, our kids were running around the yard being silly. She took note of this and geared her design to be a kid’s wonderland. She designed a secret garden, a sandbox, an above ground vegetable garden, and a gardening station. We now have an outdoor escape in the middle of the city. Our kids are loving being outside, exploring, and getting dirty. They feel a sense of responsibility and ownership of the plants and vegetables. As well as being family friendly, the design is also beautiful and low maintenance . It is going to be so fun going forward with this landscaping that is perfect for our family. -  Grace Gongidi

About

Hi, I’m Alexandra — a landscape designer, artist, and tiny-space enthusiast rooted in Fort Worth, Texas. With a background in art, gardening, and blueprint drawing, I eventually found my way to the landscape industry, where I now specialize in transforming outdoor spaces with a natural, cottage-style touch.

My blog is about living big in small spaces — from camper DIYs and compact gardens to the simple joy of a morning coffee outside. After moving into a camper nestled in a Fort Worth RV park, I began reshaping my own little plot into something warm, wild, and entirely my own.

I believe you can create beauty and comfort wherever you're planted. Whether I’m knee-deep in dirt, sketching out a design, or collecting leaves on a walk, I’m always chasing those tiny moments that make life feel full.

This is a space where I share my work, my garden, my creative experiments — and hopefully inspire you to make the most of yours, too.

Thanks for joining me on this journey — I’m so glad you’re here!
